The Contemporary Festival is an annual adjudicated event celebrating music of the 20th and 21st centuries.  There are specific rules as to which composers' music may be played.  The festival is open to any student of high school age or younger, and students are placed in a division appropriate to their levels.

Students receive awards based on the judge's decisions.
